WordPress 3.0 due in 2010

WordPress has taken center stage in the CMS world and is becoming the leading content management system for both medium and corporate web sites. WordPress excels at search engine optimization, user-friendly control and the community of plugins prove to be well-supported and reliable.

WordPress 3.0 will have a completely redesigned admin interface and merge both WordPress 2.91 and WordPress MU into a single solution.  For users implementing new sites into WordPress and wondering about the upgrade path for Wordpress 2.91 or WordPress MU, according to Matt Mullenweg, founding developer of WordPress,  it doesn’t matter and either one should upgrade the same.
