Seniorcare Compare Inc. is a Utah-based company that offers consultation for families looking into assisted living facilities in Utah for their elderly family members.
The company’s target market is women ages 30 to 50 with a secondary focus on the elderly themselves. When Seniorcare Compare approached us to redesign its site, we examined the target market, the goals of the site and the key competitive benefits the company offers. Our goal was to create a site that would provide a professional image for the business, speak to the audience about the issues that matter surrounding elder care — and increase sales for Seniorcare Compare.
Our design created a calming, peaceful color scheme that is welcoming to visitors. For layout and features, we chose original photography that focused on independence, friendship and high quality of life. The photography also emphasizes Seniorcare Compares’ partnership and involvement with the local community. Everything about the company’s website from layout to colors to features and framework is designed to promote the business goals while appealing to site visitors.
It was equally important to have a clear message throughout the copy that explained the value of the service and, more importantly, how Seniorcare Compare differs in a positive way from its larger competitors. The framework specifically avoids flash and heavy animation, providing instead simple navigation and even the ability to magnify the font size of the site text for easier reading.
By understanding the business and Seniorcare Compare’s primary goals, we were able to create a site that resulted in higher traffic — and increased leads — in just the first two weeks. “I would highly recommend the services of Argoworks to anyone looking for a new website. We originally went with another company that charged a little less but we ended up with a website that looked cheap, was programmed incorrectly and winded up being totally worthless,” said Scott Meyer, President of Seniorcare Compare, Inc.
Argoworks’ worked closely with Meyer, explaining the proposed changes thoroughly and coherently. “They walked me through the whole process and explained to me in layman’s terms what my options were,” said Meyer. “This time we ended up with both a website and landing page that has the look and feel we were going for. The process took a lot less time, and more importantly we are already receiving leads from it.”
